Hi ya’ll, it’s me. I know you’re wondering why I didn’t post a tasty Tuesday this week. Truth is, it flew right past me as we’ve had family over for the holidays and a family emergency in the midst of all the holiday craziness. Do forgive me and hold tight until next week for recipes!
Did anyone cook anything they loved? I ended up having to downsize from a 12 person dinner to a 4 person dinner. So much turkey leftovers! Pictured is slices cut from only half the turkey! Still working on the rest of it, haha.
- Cranberry apple stuffing
- Buttered carrots
- Brussel sprouts with pancetta
- Turkey gravy (from drippings)
- Turkey (12 servings)
- Garlic & butter mashed potatoes
- Green beans with flaked almonds
- Eggplant Parmesan
This year was relatively stress free because I figured out how to plan my dishes well ahead of time. The only stress I had was the oven, as the oven can only fit so many goodie at one time! I definitely need to build in a warming drawer for food when I decide to build a kitchen one day.
