Product Review: Nūby’s SureGrip Miracle Mat & Plate

Babies and Toddlers instinctively enjoy fine tuning their own motor skills by learning to eat and drink by themselves. When that happens, it’s great! It means that they are learning and growing. But it also commences a search for bowls and plates they can’t flip. There’s enough cleaning required without adding your kid’s meals on the floor to the list. That being said, I searched for a nonslip mat at my local Tesco and found Nubby’s. Nubby products usually work decently (3/5 star products on average) so I figured, why not?

I was really disappointed with this product as it hardly stuck to any surface, and my toddler was able to pry it off with no problem.

Honestly, what happened here? I believe this product could be a lot better. The reason why I bought this is because I was concerned my son’s Joie highchair tray wouldn’t fit most conventional sizes. It appears I will may better luck on Amazon, which is probably what I should have done in the first place.

This didn’t work for me, but it may work for really young babies who aren’t as strong and curious as my little guy.
